Hi, I am Ellie!

I’m a wife to my amazing husband Eric, mama to my sweet littles (Dominic, Cade + Brielle), and Bay Area Family Photographer based in Pleasanton, California. I was born + raised in the Bay Area and graduated with High Distinction from UC Berkeley.

Beautifully documenting + fully embracing each season of my own little family’s life is extremely important to me, which is why I consider it such an honor and privilege to be able to help other families do the same!

As the eldest of five children & as someone who babysat little ones from middle school through graduating from college, I absolutely love children and always have!! And now as a family photographer, I am so grateful that I get to spend time with families and children while beautifully documenting their precious life stages.

My Photography Style

My goal is to take photos that feel natural, genuine, and heartfelt — both in the moment to the family members who are being photographed, as well as to those later viewing the images. I photograph a combination of posed, candid, and directed images that aim to best capture the beauty of your family, while just being your authentic selves! My style is light + airy, connection-focused, and joy-filled. I always shoot around an hour before sunset to capitalize on that gorgeous light of golden hour!

When I am entrusted with taking your family photos, I consider it an honor & do my absolute best to deliver an overall amazing experience. No matter what I undertake, I endeavor to put my whole heart into it (Colossians 3:23-24) and consider it a joy + blessing to have the opportunity to do so!

Family Sessions

The days may be long, but the years truly are short! As exhausting as parenting can be (soo exhausting!!), these are are memories that you’ll want to keep & times that you’ll want to remember. Let’s capture the beauty of this special season of your life before it’s gone.

Each family session is designed to be as seamless as possible. As a mama of three, I fully understand the overwhelm that can come with planning a family photo session. But I promise I’ll do everything in my power to make it as simple + smooth as possible! From your first inquiry until your images + products are delivered, my goal is to take all the pressure off + give you a truly joy-filled, effortless experience. 

I also guarantee that you will completely love your images. If for any reason you don’t, we’ll schedule a reshoot for free!
